Party on, Berlin!

„Berlin, poor but sexy“. Berlin adopted this motto 20 years ago. The city has lost some of its appeal due to rising prices. But still: Berlin means freedom and creativity. Everyone can be who or what they want to be. Everyone can stand up for their point of view and express their opinion without fear of persecution.
There are not too many cities in the world with such a degree of freedom. This live-and-let-live attitude finds its strongest expression during some well-known street festivals and also the numerous political demonstrations. Tolerance and joie de vivre is the key.
